It's raining now, has been all day. The temps dropping with every hour.
I went out at dusk and dodged drips to bring in the potted plants that I know won't like below freezing temps. I put a make-shift frost cloth over some of the larger pots, and the newly uppotted agaves that are hardy but just starting out.
I've had to carry the dogs out a few times today. They will go in the house rather than outside when it's raining. Little babies, 'friad to get wet. If I carry them across the yard, they'll do their thing. But then I'm out there getting rained on with them. Sigh.

I so love the rain. Miss it terribly normally so I am in my element. Wondering what will happens to my veggies with wet frost cloth that freezes? Will be interested to see. Happy New Year Jenn! x

Instead of moving the plants to prepare for the landscape of the protected and protecting the tissues before the sun goes down tonight. Then curl up on the couch a cup of hot chocolate.

I'm sure the dogs will start going out on their own pretty soon.
