The journal of a gardener in transition from her former garden (Hogglebog, a zone 5 garden located in southeast Michigan) to her new garden in Phoenix, Arizona

All I did here was size the image down.
A small sampling of some of the plants I have found to be heat-hardy in Phoenix.
Blue Potato Bush {Lycianthes rantonnetii}
Plumbago auriculata
Cissus capensis
Coral Fountain {Russelia equisetiformis}
Haworthia attenuata-fasciataAll of these except the Russelia require at least 50% shade from the death star.
Despite my long absence, I'm still here, still in the desert, still trying to garden...
I think that after 7 years, I *might* be getting it pulled together.
