I've rooted cuttings in the past. To make new plants, to get plants through the winter by bringing starts inside and rooting them for next spring's garden plans.
But I've never gone into the game with as much at stake as this:
This is most of the contents of a box of cuttings I got from Malone's Nursery. I'm thrilled with how many different types of plants she sent me (this was a mystery box - I specified a few plants to exclude (sedum and echeveria, which melt when I try to grow them here in Phoenix.)

I have no idea where I am going to put them all. But aren't they cute now? So cute when they are littles!
